Hi Lance,
Funny thing is, I was just about to post an INSANELY priced brazilian and ziricote set!!
What I have is a jumbo size set of brazilian(no sap)that had 2 hairline (tight) splits in one half of the back.I wicked in cyanoacrylate and repaired them.It is a dark st so you won't be able to notice in finished product.Regular price if perfect $600.sale price$300 INSANE SALE PRICE $200.!!!
The ziricote set is nice- jumbo size(flatsawn) reg.$200
INSANE SALE PRICE $125.
As if that isn't insane enough if someone buys both $300. for both !!!!!!(plus s/h)
My problem is I am good with wood but not computers -otherwise I would post the pictures right here on the forum but still have not figured out how to "shrink" them. Brad Goodman38547.8930439815

Hey Brad,

I know the administrator of this site. He's a great guy. I'm SURE he would waive the restriction if you just ask him. Maybe just send them to him via Email. Hmmm. Now I think about it, they may NOT get posted.

Brad,

I use Paint Shop Pro to "resample" my photographs. Resampling means choosing a lower resolution. For example, I take a 3 megapixel image with my digicam, which means the image resolution is up around 2000 x 1600. It results in a huge image on a site like this. But it is a very easy process to shrink things down to 800x600 or 400x300 or somewhere in between. Takes me literally seconds to do this with each photo.

The version of Paint Shop Pro that I use is an ooooold one -- v4.0. I actually prefer it for simple stuff like resampling and adding a little sharpness. Later versions are more complicated than I need. Keep your eyes peeled on eBay for v4 and you can probably pick it up for next to nothing. I bought my copy at a yard sale for $5.

Best,

Michael

If the BRW and Ziricote sets are still available I will take them unseen...Email already sent. I only build classical and almost all are BRW although I have seen nice Ziricote classicals so I am game.

Thanks,
Shawn
